The VEB625 builds from its predecessor by incorporating 802.11b/g wireless connectivity, while still maintaining a USB interface for direct PC connectivity, an SD card slot for memory expansion, and a headphone input. Signature to the e-reader is its format compatibility, as it supports MP3 music, HTML pages, epub/txt/rtf texts, and PDF documents, which is significant considering that the notorious Kindle doesn’t support PDFs. Plus the VEB625 hosts touchscreen functionality, in that users can highlight and annotate the screen either with their finger, a stylus pen, or an optional virtual keyboard.
