Spring Design Alex
$399.00
Released April, 2010
The Pros:Built-in WiFi and 3G. Thin. Full colour LCD touchscreen display for snappier and more intuitive user IO.
The Cons:Concept has not yet been fully worked out - steep learning curve in its current form. Fully unlocked Android platform muddies the focus of the device as an e-reader. Delay after delay.
The Spring Design Alex is a unique e-book reader that has a remarkable shape and design. Instead of having an ordinary layout, the reader has dual screens making navigation easier than other models out on the market.

Along with being compact, the reader is extremely thin and just a bit larger than your original iPod. The Spring Design Alex is very responsive, has a microSD card slot and is compatible with several different Android applications such as the browser, email client and music player.
