The improved Personal eReader uses an easier-to-read 6” touchscreen electronic paper display made by SiPix/AUO, which incidentally is the same company responsible for most other eReader displays on the market, including those from Sony. This new screen lends itself to the unit’s lower 9.1-ounce weight, not to mention its thinner frame and more portable size. Also included is integrated WiFi, a built-in web browser with access to Barnes & Noble’s eBookstore, integrated speakers, and audio ports.
