The new 6-inch screen features both Pearl E Ink technology and a 16 level gray scaling for improved contrast, and couples with zForce infrared touch technology providing a more intuitive reading experience that features tap/swipe page turning, highlighting, and an included easy-access dictionary for word look up.

A quilted soft-touch backing provides a more comfortable read, and is available in lilac, blue, silver, and black. A 1 GB internal memory capacity can be built upon further using the Kobo's SD memory card slot, while a USB connection allows for easy connection to a computer. Font customization comes in the form of 2 different styles, and 15 different sizes.
