Endless Ideas BeBook 2
Released October, 2009
The Pros:3G. Touchscreen functionality. Will be available in places competitors like the Kindle 2 are not.
The Cons:No qwerty keyboard. Button interface isn't as intuitive or appealing as the one found on the Kindle/Kindle 2. 3G service will cost a lot more than Amazon's Whispernet.
Introduced at CeBIT in March 2009 the BeBook 2 is an e-book reader by Endless Ideas BV. While the software on the device is still incomplete, many new features over the original BeBook have been announced and demonstrated, including WiFi and 3G WWAN, 16 shades of gray, touchscreen-like functionality and a thinner overall form factor while maintaining the original device's battery life.
Availability and price have not been announced, but the device is rumored to launch October 14th 2009.

#endless_ideas_bebook_2 Addressing 2 of the cons:
-3G will (according to the CEO, sorry, lost the link to the video) be free (as in: included in the pricetag, no additional contract needed) Not sure how they'll do that, but sounds exciting. This may also be one of the reasons behind some of the delays...
-Indeed no Querty, but it will have a touchscreen. An external keyboard on an ebook is mostly awkward as it increases the size for a non-critical feature. Having a touchscreen should enable all dynamic input (for me: mainly searching within text) without getting in the way of the reading experience
