The reader is capable of both text displays, with multiple supported formats, and also image and audio capabilities. The device also has several features that are usually found on PDAs, such as a calendar, notepad, clock, and a calculator. There are also several options included with the reader for additional functionality during text displays, such as digital bookmarks, text-to-speech, sizable fonts, zooms, background music, and a text search function. An internal memory of 128MB is used to store files that can also be expanded with the use of an SD memory card.
