Archos 70 eReader

The Archos 70 eReader is a 7 inch tablet style device. On the outside, it look extremely similar to the Archos 70c which runs the Android operating system. The Archos 70 also lacks wifi, or a touch screen; these cut backs have resulted in a lower price.

The Archos 70 still have video and music play back support and a limited number of built-in applications such as calender and a bookmarks manager for your ebooks. It has built in speakers and microphone, also a USB 2.0 port for computer connectivity. The Archos 70 is a decent budget e-reader, but the 70c might be the better option considering the wide range of applications available on AppLib as well as wifi connectivity.
