Acer LumiRead

The Acer LumiRead is Acer's first e-Reader device. It has a 6-inch E Ink display, full QWERTY integrated keyboard and 2GB of on-board storage, expandable through microSD. It also boasts an integrated ISBN scanner for easy digital purchase of any physical book you can get your hands on.

Additionally, the LumiReader's distribution agreement with Barnes & Noble, Founder and Libri.de means it has access to millions of e-books for purchase.

The LumiRead also supports media playback, has a web browser (it can connect to Wi-Fi and 3G networks) and has ability to convert Web content into an e-book format. Its 2GB of internal storage can hold about 1,500 books but its microSD allows for many more. Additionally, the LumiRead's battery life is estimated at about 7,000-8,000 consecutive page turns or two weeks in standby mode.
